Improved Walking Kinetics

As a 76-year-old male with peripheral artery disease (PAD), I walk 2 miles daily. Due to reduced blood circulation, I often experience intense calf pain. It’s well-known that people with PAD develop kinetic impairments from an altered walking gait over time. Scientific studies show that PAD can reduce walking torque and diminish ankle plantar-flexor power during push-off.
After trying carbon insoles and MFM Performance insoles, I found the MFM insoles to be just as effective. My walking times have dramatically improved, and while the calf pain is still present, it’s noticeably diminished—likely due to the improved walking kinetics provided by the MFM insoles.
These insoles aren’t just for people with PAD. They’re designed to support anyone who walks regularly, whether for exercise, daily errands, or long walks. They provide excellent cushioning, stability, and enhanced walking mechanics, making every step smoother and more efficient.
I highly recommend MFM insoles for anyone who wants to improve their walking performance and comfort. They’ve made a real difference for me, and I believe they can do the same for anyone looking to take their walking to the next level.

Born for Movement: MFM Performance Insoles at Badwater 135

I tested the MFM Performance Insoles with two shoes—a Brooks Ghost Max and a Mount Coast R1—throughout my training and into the Badwater 135 in Death Valley, and they delivered exactly what I needed: excellent cushioning and shock absorption without adding bulk or introducing wobble. Fit was straightforward (minimal trimming), arch support felt neutral to moderate, and the insoles kept my stride consistent on road . Even in extreme heat over long hours, they held their shape, didn’t cause hot spots, and dried quickly after sponge downs. I recommended for runners who want extra protection without compromising a shoe’s natural ride.
