from 278 reviewsI must say that I was quite surprised by these insoles. I have tried a number of flat/zero drop insoles and haven't loved any of them. I do want to preface my review by saying that these insoles are great for the well informed but will probably be awful for those who think that they are getting ultra soft cushy insoles because these are not those!I want to start off by addressing the firmness and density of these insoles. These are about as firm as the midsole in most of my shoes. Feeling more like a lasting board material than an insole at all. This means that while they do offer shock protection and a little bit of rebound, they are quite stable underfoot and not really cushy. As such they will slightly mold to your foot and your shoe but won't really collapse underfoot each time that you walk. The density feels about the same as the cork footbed on my classic Birkenstock. More firm than the eva versions too. Yet not as dense or as firm as veg tan leather. So, if you want something between cork and leather in density, these might be the answer. As for sizing, I got mine to put in some Jim Green Barefoot African Rangers. I wear a size 10.5 in these, and they are a 3E stich down construction, so they are quite wide. I went up in size and got the 11-13 models and they almost fit perfectly. Rather than trimming I kind of made them fit so that they developed a bit of a heel cup. I suggest others, who are considering these for zero drop shoes, do the same thing because flat insoles have a way of working themselves out the back of the shoe if they aren't super snug! Anyway, if you are over a 2E I'd go up to the next whole size, at least, in the wide models. If you want soft or plush insoles, these are not for you. If you want arch support, these are also not for you. If you want something firm underfoot but with a bit of padding, then you have a winner. Also, if you just want to take up some volume in a shoe that is a bit roomy, these should be a good option. Or covering up a roughed-up midsole or lasting board.I will say that I wish they came in 1.5-2mm thickness rather than 3 and 6 as some of my shoes are pretty low volume.Anyway, I enjoy them.
I wear moccasins because neuropathy has taken away some sensation. I use some with a single leather sole for the best feel. But they are painful on anything small than gravel. So I put these in another pair. Stopped the rock pain and retained a lot of the feel.
These are not your normal insoles. They are not soft. Why bother to buy soft insoles when they compress down? That is throwing away money. They are FIRM foam. They are to allow a person to adapt a high volume shoe to a low volume foot. After a little trimming they are great, While hiking my feet are not sliding from side to side inside the shoe. Trail feel is the same as before………….and no blisters!
Awesome for wide feet.
I tend to quickly wear through the insoles that come sewn into my shoes at the time of manufacture. I bought these to try and extend the life of some of my shoes, and they are perfect. I wanted something with NO arch support, as that hurts my feet. These actually keep my feet from feeling fatigued and allow me to wear my shoes for a longer time. They fit perfectly also!
I bought these to replace my hobbibear barefoot shoe inserts. I usually wear a 9 1/2 shoe and got the 9 inserts and they fit perfect and snug.If you are looking for firm inserts these are it, I have normal arches and usually any kind of arch support is very painful to wear. These molded to my feet and feel great. I bought the red ones too for my non barefoot shoes too.
I bought the 619 inserts and I gotta say I am really surprised with them. I normally wear a 10.5 wide shoe and inserts can be hard to fit properly. These are a near perfect fit. I also bought inserts from Dr scholls and trade home and these 619’s are way better. I didn’t know if I would like a simple flat insert but it’s perfect. I would definitely recommend.
Very dense material not soft .
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wear zero or near zero drop shoes, so these insoles are a perfect match. I do wish all sizes were available. I had to buy two of the thinnest in order to approximate the mid size.
Good
Was looking for a way to just slightly raise the position of my foot in my running shoe so that my ankle wouldn't rub on the side of the shoe. I tried other insoles with different amounts of arch support, but none of those worked for me due to having flatter feet with low arches. This worked perfectly because it is flat, so it does not add any arch support where I do not need it, and it also does not change the drop (angle of my foot in the shoe). I can just stick it underneath the original sock liner of the shoe. Simple, yet effective and exactly what I had spent weeks searching for. I've been using these in my running shoes for several months now, and they still feel just as good as they were when I first got them.
I have flat feet and these really help with strengthening my arch. Using arch support insoles really hurt my feed.
These insoles are very well made and work perfectly for me. Delivery is fast and their Customer Service is excellent. I highly recommend them.
These worked great from the moment I put them in my house shoes. I walk on concrete all day and have concrete floors in my downstairs with these in my zero drop shoes I do not notice how hard my floors are and my heel doesn't hurt. Better than anything I can buy at another store.

Understanding the Benefits of Our Insoles
At Run 619, we started with one mission: to build flat, no-arch, zero-drop insoles that deliver simple, foot-forming performance without changing the feel of your shoe. That’s still at the core of what we do. But now, for runners and active users who need more structure, we’ve introduced a completely different kind of insole—one with true arch support, a shock-absorbing heel pad, and a base designed for stability and durability over long miles. It’s a major step beyond our original designs—but still built on the same zero-drop platform. Whether you want something flat and minimal or structured and supportive, we make insoles that help you move naturally and stay on your feet longer.
Flat, Foot-Forming, and Zero Drop
Our original insoles are minimalist by design—flat, firm, and built for those who want a simple, dialed-in fit. With no arch, a traditional shape, and a zero-drop platform, they’re ideal for replacing worn-out insoles, pairing with orthotics, or fine-tuning your shoe’s feel. Available in three thicknesses (3mm, 4.5mm, and 6mm) and two widths (regular and wide), so you can choose the level of ground feel or underfoot support that works best for you.
Built for Performance. Backed by Support.
Our new Performance MFM Insole is made for runners who need real structure and all-day durability. A cushioned PU heel pad absorbs impact, while the medium arch and firm 5.5mm base deliver stable, responsive support without feeling bulky. Still zero drop—so your stride stays efficient, even when the miles stack up.
